Hello! I am Marion McCrary. I am a primary care medical doctor in North Carolina who is also a nationally board certified Integrative Health and Wellness Coach. I enjoy life with my husband and 3-year-old four-legged child! I like being outdoors, running, reading, watching college sports, and learning!
In addition to helping others reach their goals in my medical career, I have also successfully made lifestyle changes in my own life. I was able to change my mindset from "I am not a runner" to having run multiple half marathons after overcoming an injury. I can help you do the same! My own journey to finding a healthy lifestyle has given me insight into overcoming challenges.
I came to health coaching after learning about it at a preventative medicine conference. Others coached me in several venues- an intentional leadership group, a goal setting program, and a women’s medicine masterclass. I saw the benefit of it in every arena.
Coaching helped me get “unstuck” and out of a fixed mindset that things could not change.
My 19-year experience as a primary care doctor has also given me insight into the many challenges one encounters. This enables me to provide a high level of empathy, respect, and understanding.
I am an excellent listener and have many skills to help you REFRESH your life and health.
My Health Coach training from Duke Integrative Medicine prepared me to guide you in making changes in many areas of your life, not just diet and exercise.
